Over 400 pages, packed with both period black & white and full colour photos throughout, this detailed volume covers an enormous array of a wide variety of WWI and WWII materials and equipment.  Many items include detailed descriptions and development history and well as Ordnance Department schematics. An invaluable resource if you're working to build an authentic WWI or WWII U.S. Army impression.

When ordering books, please note you'll need to select one of the three "BUY - LOCATION" buttons below to let me know where I will need to post it. Nothing too tricky: if you live in Germany, click 'BUY - Europe'. If you're inside mainland UK, click 'BUY - UK'. Obviously, there are some exceptions to this but for the most part it's simply enough. Bear in mind, if for any reason it'll cost me more to post, it's going to cost you more. If you wish to buy multiples of a book or want a selection of different titles, it's easier just to contact me first and I will sort out the best price for shipping and see what magical deal I can work out for you.

I know this will sound stupid, but I DO NEED A MAILING ADDRESS TO SEND YOU THE BOOKS YOU PURCHASE!

Once you complete the transaction, send me a text message with your name, mailing address and titles of the book(s) purchased.

It doesn't have to be an essay, but it does have to tell me those things listed above as a minimum. Believe it or not I have had buyers refuse to give me a mailing address for where to send books that they wanted to purchase!

For anywhere else in the world, the shipping will most likely be the same as the USA; either pay that or contact me. If the USA rate covers it, I will get it on its way, or I will be in touch.

If any dealers want to stock our books to display in shops or at fairs, please contact me and we can work out a deal that is beneficial for us both.

Do you have a book you want to write or have published?

Since I was young, I never wanted a career of any sort... nope, not even train driver or footballer. The only thing I ever wanted to do was write a book. After writing one, then came the next and the next...

Then I was talking to a father and son duo who wanted to put together a book based on the 3rd Canadian Invasion plans, as seen above. The agreement we settled on was that I would turn all the files into a printable document, I would send it to the printers, I would pay for the printing, and we would split the job of selling them. The profit would be split 50/50. However, the effort from the other side died almost after the first week and it turned into a hand-holding and babysitting job. Not what I signed up for or paid for! That style of working arrangement could never happen again. since I ended up out of pocket and stuck with books I don't want. I actually give them away when people visit me! There is no profit and it's still only me out of pocket.

So, the next project I became involved in that wasn't mine was simple. The book would be written in text, with support documents and photos named and numbered. I would then compile everything into a book. This file is held on record with me; the printers will print it in any amount you like, with hundreds of options, you'll pay for the printing of the quantity you want. Prices vary massively depending mainly on how many pages you have (a colour book is twice the price of a black & white one), hardback is much more expensive than paperback and paper quality can have a little difference in the price, too. All these options leave it down to you to set the sale price as you want it. All I ask is that you pay me a small amount added to each book for my work in creating the book. No set charge, no massive editing fees, no graphic design charges.  Just pay a tiny percentage on each book. Even the biggest hardback would only be a £2 per book charge on top of printing and shipping.

Once you have your books everything is down to you on how you sell them. Ebay and Amazon are familiar to most, and so are most social media platforms. However, if you wish to register your book with an ISBN number, then I can either provide you one at what they cost me, or you can purchase your own from Neilsons. I can advise if you want to go down that route. Be aware though that registering your book as an actual book with the book depository has plusses and negatives too it.

+ Your book will be listed on the depository and therefore can be seen by all book retailers.

+ Waterstones tends to list all books with an ISBN on their website, so you'll get free advertising on a HUGE platform.
+ You could get orders from almost any book company.

- You pay for the cost of the ISBN and the registering.

- You have to send copies to the large book libraries in the UK at your cost. I think five copies is the most I've ever had to send. Although you pay for this, it is nice knowing that places like the Bodleian Library in Oxford has a few of my books in its archive.

All that is completely up to you to decide, however there is no rush. That can literally be the last thing you need to decide upon.

Feel free to use the contact me function at the top of the website and ping me over some questions.
