Messenger (Runner)

This section covers the combat equipment and weapons necessary for this role. It doesn't mention things like the uniform as every trooper had the same basic uniform. If you're interested in portraying the above position, you should have the following items:

The Messengers (or 'Runners' as they were originally called) task was simple but challenging at times. Their role was to carry messages between the three squads and the platoon HQ. They had one SCR-536 radio but, depending on whether or not it was working, they would more often than not find themselves literally 'running' between units, hand-carrying messages.

- E-Tool pouch (optional)
